Four U.S. engineers recognized in New Faces of Engineering competition

The National Engineers Week Foundation (NEWF) recognized four AECOM engineers from the United States in its 2011 New Faces of Engineering competition, which acknowledges the achievements and professional contributions of engineers 30 years of age and younger.
Amy Canfield, a transportation engineer from Madison, Wisconsin, and Jeremy Livermore, a structural engineer from Orange, California, were both among the final 14 New Face honorees. Canfield was named 2011 Young Professional of the Year by the American Council of Engineering Companies, while Livermore was named 2011 New Face of Civil Engineering by the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Carlin Fitzgerald Grundemann, a project engineer in the Water business line from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Lee von Gynz-Guethle, a water resource engineer from Chicago, Illinois, were also finalists in the New Faces of Engineering competition.
Each year, the NEWF — a coalition of engineering societies, major corporations and government agencies — asks its members to nominate colleagues for the New Faces of Engineering competition. This year, AECOM nominated 41 employees. Click here to view biographies and photos of all the nominees.
