Windows Live Spaces Migration Completed


The migration from Windows Live Spaces to WordPress is now complete. The things that I had no idea how to do before, I have now learned how to do because I had to. Several blog postings for the last few months are gone one by one with earlier blog posts also planned to be purged because

  1. The Quickverse software items are a conflict in a sense with all the free Quickverse software that is bundled with the E4 stuff offered by another category of blog posts
  2. other blogs and web sites are linking to it. In my case the link is on the right side of the page, the fourth link down in the list of places where I post items of interest. The WordPress terms of service says that you can blog here if your blog is not getting advertised via unwanted electronic messages such as spam links on newsgroups, email lists, other blogs and web sites, and similar unsolicited promotional methods;
  3. blogs which have a date that the offer expires as part which is a frustrating experience for the email marketing firm that Quickverse uses
